Characteristic of the equivalent impedance for an Article

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2017, Volume 18, Issue 12,   Pages 2070-2081 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1700037

Abstract: Considerable progress has been made recently in the development of techniques to determine exactly two-point resistances in networks of various topologies. In particular, a general resistance formula of a non-regular × resistor network with an arbitrary boundary is determined by the recursion-transform (RT) method. However, research on the complex impedance network is more difficult than that on the resistor network, and it is a problem worthy of study since the equivalent impedance has many different properties from equivalent resistance. In this study, the equivalent impedance of a non-regular × RLC network with an arbitrary boundary is studied based on the resistance formula, and the oscillation characteristics and resonance properties of the equivalent impedance are discovered. In the RLC network, it is found that our formula leads to the occurrence of resonances at the boundary condition holding a series of specific values with an external alternating current source. This curious result suggests the possibility of practical applications of our formula to resonant circuits.

Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering 2009, Volume 4, Issue 4,   Pages 393-396 doi: 10.1007/s11465-009-0043-8

Abstract: When the four electrodes are controlled synchronously, the diaphragm acts as a vibrator whose frequencycan be adjusted in accordance with the frequency of the electrical signals.Experimental results show that the amplitude decreases monotonically when the frequency increases, owingWhen the vibration frequency is larger than 20Hz, the CP sensor can hardly detect the displacementThus, the upper limit frequency that the CP sensor can detect is about 20Hz.

Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering 2022, Volume 17, Issue 1,   Pages 9-9 doi: 10.1007/s11465-021-0665-z

Abstract: Gear wear is one of the most common gear failures, which changes the mesh relationship of normal gearThis paper aims to establish the model of mesh relationship and reveal the vibration characteristicsA geometric model for a new mesh relationship with gear wear is proposed, which is utilized to evaluateexperimental results indicate that gear wear does not change the structure of the spectrum, but it alters the amplitudeSeveral condition indicators, such as root-mean-square, kurtosis, and first-order meshing frequency amplitude

Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering 2015, Volume 9, Issue 1,   Pages 105-113 doi: 10.1007/s11705-015-1502-x

Abstract: The phase behavior of twelve synthesized -sitosteryl fatty acid esters with acyl moieties with different chain lengths (C2:0-C18:0) and different degrees of unsaturation (C18:1-C18:3) were investigated in pure and mixed Langmuir monolayers with phospholipids. The surface-pressure isotherms showed that short chain -sitosteryl fatty acid esters gave smaller mean molecular areas and had decreased monolayer stability and the long chain steryl esters did not produce collapsed plateaus. All the steryl esters displayed strong condensing effects, but there was a pronounced structural dependency: medium chain esters (C8 and C10) were less efficient than short and long chain esters. Atomic force microscopy imaging demonstrated that monolayers mixed with dipalmitoyl phosphatidylcholine (DPPC) displayed both DPPC-rich and steryl lipid-rich domains. However, the height and area differences between the two phases and the roughness and morphologic patterns were very dependent on the steryl lipid concentrations as well as the length, the degree of unsaturation and the molecular conformations of the acyl segments. These findings not only provide a better understanding of the interactions between phytosteryl hydrophobic derivatives and biomembranes, but also may be of general use for the design and engineering of phytosterol structural derivations for specific food and pharmaceutical applications.
